you see that
Theyre trying to make work for us Canooks CCIP
however BBW is right it is my idea and though I would love to hand off the volume of work (or maybe part of it.) I should see it through. that said I notice that when bbw posted he left a description of what each link was and I didnt (save but a few) I think that will be typical as a result and probably I/we will have to go through the links and make descriptions. so inspite of my bad example if you are posting research links on this thread where possible leave a brief descriptive of what its a link to. Here are some I've got in my bookmarks specifically about Australian merchants and warships in WWII:

a note to all
Im just checking in for today on this thread we havent progressed very
far since yesterday. As at the moment I am giving priority to preparing for an interview I will only be on this thread a little bit for the next few days. do not think I have given up on this idea I think its worth pursuing as a benefit to all of us. MM |
Merchant Marines in Action
http://www.usmm.org/ww2.html
Great website if your interested in the US Merchant Marine history. Lots of Stats and some links |
Yes, indeed ... I really needed this, but I see a problem down the road.
What about people that want to contribute, but not read and see if the link has already been posted or is that just par for the course? Plus a time period frame would be nice under 1945 etc. |
I would be making progress if I weren't tied down with work here :dead:
Soon, gentlemen, soon! |
yeah effectively there would be a master poster
who puts in the thread and the catagory posts then if you wanted to
update with a new link you just pm it to whoever has the thread at that point. more later. M |
Hello again guys looks like were still only getting a limited response

Hi all
Just checking to see if we got any fresh links yet
back in tommorow on this thread. MM |
Keep them coming guys! I haven't forgotten you, but I haven't had time to organize it all just yet...
If someone wishes to jump in and really have it done early though... how about getting a single list together and either posting it here or sending it to me in a private message so I could just paste it into a proper sticky (with proper credits for your effort of course)? |
HI all
