We have one tax here in the U.K which most people here think is theft by the government, it's called Inheritance tax. :nope:

Thanks to the Labour government.

If you say this, it is because you did not watch the movie announced in post #1.
And if you did it, or you did not understand it; or you watched it, but not the whole film.

Also, it would be very educative experience for anyone who dares to get involved without to get informed first; to watch the movie "The money Master". :|\\
Everybody can watch it at:

The money masters part 1 ---> http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...+masters&hl=en

The Money Masters part 2 ---> http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...+masters&hl=en

Terrific description of how american economy works (3h 30m total). :|\\

But to consult a specialist would be wise.

Let's recall that this great nation born from the tax oppression. :yep:

You want tax oppression? America is not the place to find it. :nope: Come on over my way for 50% plus 15.5% VAT plus national insurance. Many in Europe go through similar.

As for taxation without representation, America now has the representation. True, there's much to complain about the representation but the taxes are legit.

But again, play Russo's game and get burned.

Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in

Do not relax,

The inheritance tax.

This is already happening. All those lovely enviromental laws cost business money to comply. That cost is passed onto the consumer. Sort of a VAT for air.

The Avon Lady 01-01-07 12:42 AM

There should be a colored font usage tax. :yep: :yep: :yep:

You make that sound like its a bad thing.

Hello,

I see a major problem with not paying your taxes. Complaining about the Taxes is alright and a Right we Americans have but as a Right, this does not allow us to not pay them. We could go back to Boston for another Tea Party  and maybe something could be done but that's all we can do. Stand up and try for a change but before that happens, pay taxes.

Here's the downfall to not paying taxes. Sure you could even declare your property as a soverign nation too but who do you call when there's a fire or a break-in. What if you have a problem with Mail.

All of these agencies are either through the U.S. City Government or the U.S. Government. Stop paying these Taxes and they all will have the Right to refuse you services and there will be NOTHING you can do about it.

Many do not like paying the Taxes but it''s a fact, you do get many services for paying the Taxes and many are still available that you may not need now, or ever but they are there.

Im afraid to tell you you're wrong von capo, but mate, you're wrong. I've watched the entire thing. Twice, as a matter of fact. And I do understand it, having studied the origins of such things as US tax code - not to mention having a partner who has spent more than a year studying US tax code in a law degree.

perhaps you might be able to explain to me why you think i've not seen or understood the video in the first post? As i said before, what would you prefer - that people make a voluntary contribution to things like national health care and roads?? I dont see that being particulatly effective, i'm afraid

"The Money Masters" film is about the general economic situation.

"America - From freedom to fascism" film is about taxes and the laws.

The laws have a hierarchial arrangement.
A lower law never can contradict a higher law; but if it is the case, the lower law is null. The highest law is the Constitution.

The film seems to suggest to step into a tax rebellion, because it shows that a compulsory Income Tax is invalid (illegal).

This is about plain laws, and considerations about consequences should be handle by lawmakers (but they look unwilling to make the necessary fixes :nope:).

Furthermore, judges corrupt the law and promote an authoritarian government, when they rule taking in count the impact in the government and not in the law's spirit.

The above sentence can be explained in the following way:
In a democracy there is three Powers:
- Judicial
- Legislative
- Executive
All of them must be independent.
When Judicial and Legislative Powers are acting to please the Executive, the road to fascism is certain.

GSpector 01-02-07 01:28 PM

Hello VON_CAPO,

Ok, it's clear you hate our Taxes, that's fine. So other then bring it to our attention (which is fine), what do you want or expect us Americans to do about it?

What are YOU going to do about it?

Bringing it to our attention is fine but trying to force feed it to us is another story. I accept the good with the bad. I accept paying my taxes for the good I get for it.

I also accept you oppinion. What I don't accept is that you don't accept another members just because they disagree.

I do not like Seafood. I don't care if you eat Lobster everyday for Breakfast. Do not try to force feed it to me. My point is that People have the Right to decide what they like and don't like. Some may even just accept if because the Good out weighs the Bad.
