I think when a company has to release 4 patches in the three months after the release date then the game has serious issues. As I recall, there were a lot of niggly things that should have worked out of the box but didn't. Then one of the patches shut down the radio traffic and we needed a new patch had to fix that.

It was all a bit of a disaster. I still think SH3 is a very good WW2 subsim, and SH4 looks like being everything SH3 should have been and more.
