I first want to see some REAL screenshots and videos of the game. I´m 90% sure that the screenshots that have been released bu now have been really heavily edited. Also, judging from the screenshots, the game has already taken it´s shape. Meaning that after only few months, they can already show us action screenshots is a bad thing. Same SHIII engine.

They have to improve the SHIII gameplay by 300% for me to buy it.

If there are some changes in game design from SHIII I will buy it. If it is SHIII with US-boats I will wait till it hits the bargain bin.

I understand it is the same engine as SH3. Great graphics as far as I'm concerned. I'm sure the screenshots as shows are edited quite a bit, no doubt there. I would suspect the developers learned from SH3 and addes all kinds of goodies. Hopefully no glitches. I will definitely get the game....:up:

But the SHIII engine is limited. All I want to see is AI submarines etc. not just the warships. But like I said, I want to see some un-edited screenshots & videos first, as the enviroment adds alot to the immersion for me. If it is even close to the SHIII, I will wait for the prices to lower to 10€ before buying it.

I paid twice for SH3, so I only have to pay once for SHIV - that is if I live long enough.

Does that make me a bad person??

That sounds like me; and since I didn't get SHIII until last January, I'm still getting the nuances down - haven't played late wwII yet at all. But I am looking foward to the Pacific Theatre. Although I wonder how they will make the game moe chanelleging as your career progress: The Atlantic Theatre just automatically progresses this way.

SteamWake 11-03-06 10:13 AM

Oh well what the heck.

Me too

I want too know the game specs first so I can insure I don't wast money on unnecessary upgrades for my PC. Then hunt round for the cheapest price before buying SH4.

I agree, I would like to see some plain screenshots. I think we will find more of the same as SH3. Thats OK with me as I like SH3 and what it has to offer...that was after GW was installed. Hopefully the developers had their ears and eyes working on the forums and will add these mods developed with SH3. Time will tell!

thegroo 11-03-06 10:20 AM

I sure will get it:yep:

Sailor Steve 11-03-06 06:06 PM

Of course I'll get it; probably pre-order through Subsim as soon as I can. Unlike some others, though, I'll continue playing SHIII right alongside it. Can't get enough of those WWII subsims.

I will definitely be getting it, and I doubt very much that I will be waiting for the price to drop.:D

Deep-Six 11-03-06 06:24 PM

I will be getting it. I just upgraded my RAM to 1.5gigs.

SH3 runs a whole lot better w/ that much ram, IMHO.:D

Goat 11-03-06 07:37 PM

Sure... Does a wild bear crap in the woods? Does a pretty girl 'fluff' ?

I have two copies of SH3... I'll get two of SH4...

I still have to take a couple Exedrins when I think I am playing at being a part of the Nazi machine...

Reece 11-03-06 07:41 PM

Definite Yes!

I will be ordering as soon as it is released, and so will Dowly!
