Er...I'm not actually sure about the key, now, myself...my own instructions don't work!!
Anyway, I think I said something like "I wish I had written my thesis on cryptology rather than ancient Roman political violence" |

Actually, it would seem there is only one way to actually do the plugs. There is no "upper" or "lower." I guess one could say I'm an idiot!!! :D:rotfl:

Here is a page where you can find probably the best Enigma simulation:
http://users.telenet.be/d.rijmenants/ There is also a lot of documentation on this page on how the machine was handled, a tool to create the keybooks and about the history of the Enigma. I wish we could use it within SH3. |

I think it may be impossible, since its a a program, and to interact with it, SH3 have to be all redone. For me, the only way is to one create a mod that the radio messages came cryptograph with only one enigma setting, the ones use by the kriegsmarine and then, the player has to minimize the game e run the progmam.
The moders have a better ideia or opinion on this. But it would be great  |

Lurchi & Thorvald Von Mansee: Couldnt you post this in the mods thread, and see if some genious could make something out of this? |

Thank You guys, its just a thought. Even cooler was if, throught the war, the settings of the machine was changed has in reallity, but its to ask much. Hope the moders read this thread.

A codebreaking sim would have a VERY narrow audience, methinks, but it would have one of the most dedicated fanbases imaginable, I'd think. |
