Punkrockike, SHII Commander is not really a mod. It's a separate program that installs to a separate folder and interfaces with SHIII. ;) I'm only say that as mod need to be manually installed, or installed via the JSGME Mod installer.

JScones would tell you the same thing, as he developed SHIII Commander. ;)

Ok, I would like to try SHIII Commander. Where can I download it from?

In Patrol Saves!

I haven't got too far in the war yet as I had to start from scratch (with 4 separate boats), after loading GW's. However, I also save several times in each patrol. Even though I am quite some way from patrol 26, I was wondering if the "in patrol" saves could be deleted after the boat is back in port, or delete earlier saves as later saves are added in.

I think I read somewhere in the forum that deleting old saved game files results in corrupting the game somehow making SHIII unplayable. Perhaps someone else could confirm this either way.

Deleting an earlier save automatically deletes all saves after, including the current one.

DON'T DO IT! :nope: :dead:

No. According to the manual the war ends in '45 no matter what you do or how many tons you sink.

Yes the war ends in May 1945 but you can continue sailing until December 1945 (I think) but you don't get any credit for the kills.
