I know that more than one American sub skipper complained that Japanese Hospital ships were most likly carrying 1,000 troops with athelites foot!

The Japanese sank hospital ships, an example is A.H.S. Centaur by Japanese sub I-77 14th May 1943, of 322 on board, only 64 suvived.
