There is a port of no return, where ships
May ride at anchor for a little space And then, some starless night the cable slips, Leaving an eddy at the mooring place... Gulls, veer no longer. Sailor, rest your oar. No tangled wreckage will be washed ashore. Leslie Nelson Jennings “Lost Harbor” Lord God, our power evermore, Whose arms doth reach the ocean floor, Dive with our men beneath the sea; Traverse the depths protectively. O' hear us when we pray, and keep Them safe from peril in the deep. There are no roses on a Sailor's grave, No lilies on an ocean wave. The only tribute are the seagulls' sweeps, And the teardrops that a sweetheart weeps. "We, who survived World War II and are privilevged to rejoin our loved ones at home, salute those gallant officers and men of our submarines who lost their lives in that long struggle. We shall never forget that it was our submarines that held the line against the enemy while our fleets replaced losses and repaired wounds. Fleet Admiral Chester W. Nimitz, USN |

GEnie text debriefs of Digital Integration's Tornado missions
Hi All
If any member of Subsim was once part of the Dirty Twisters group and/or received the GEnie text debriefs or email debriefs, I would be interested to ask you if you know of anyone who has the zip file containing the debriefs. Cheers Curator of Digital Integration's Tornado flight sim Frankie Kam |
Welcome back!

Hi Achtung Baby
A necropost is a post on an "old, abandoned thread that has been considered 'dead' for a while...that no longer serves any purpose but is bumped back up to the top of the forums by someone posting in it." This thread is a goldmine for me. For someone who is fanatical in collecting all things Digital Integration Tornado, and as the chief-modder of said 1993 DOS flight sim, locating 'lost' artifacts is what floats my boat. So after two years of forum silence, I raise periscope, and upon seeing nothing.....I may just down periscope and disappear into the murky depths. Cheers Frankie Kam |
