Nemo, Don't forget this Labour Government has not just fiddled the figures and cooked the books, they have lied to us 100% :nope: :nope:
PS I am not having a go at you. I agree the whole political situation is a mess. |
Calling all members in the U.K. let's get talking about the British Justice system. Why has it gone soft on crime?
Political Correctness has played a big part in giving the criminals more human rights and weak politicians have not helped one bit. Along with stupid judges we have and all that Red Tape that has stopped the police doing there job. |
The guy was a cop (constable, or whatever it is you Brits call them). He should have known better. I understand duress, but there's also personal and professional responsibility to consider. Fortunately, no one was injured, so in this case some circumstantial leniency might have been warranted. I believe justice should be "served" on an individual basis, whenever and wherever possible.
This is no different than getting blown off a carrier deck after your wife just filed for divorce. You've got a professional responsiblity not to go for a skinny dip, but the drink crew has a professional responsibility to yank you out if you do happen to go for a dip. |
I think political correctness is the most evil thing to happen to society in recent time. It has eliminated free speech and even gone so far as to destroyed correctional institutions as found in this thread. Every country is facing this now.
At this point in time, we are probably as far away from free speech because of this as at any point in human history. In another thread, we even have an example of a persons opinion being ruled in a court of law as a crime! Islamists are also using it to destroy our foundations. Where does it stop? -S |
