Maybe they're to scared and commit group suicide;D
|
Nope. The Allies have secret 'homing' depth-charges designed to kill the soundman first, so you can't tell where they're coming from anymore.
|
I wonder if the 2 radio-guys go to DJ'S locker if you change their place in the ship:D?

Ages ago so no screenes.
It was 1943 and I had come out of St. Nazire and I heare Ship spotted. I take a look and it was a british DD. I submerged and fired a fish at the seemngly easy target(sitting there) he herd the fish and made a DC run in me HI 11-15%. I got him with my rear torp. Had to return to base. I could still se it when attacked.:nope: |
If you go into a room with dead crew-men you see NOTHING!Just some empty chairs! And if you are in the same room as the crew-men that die ,they just dissapear.

Hi all
Last carer ended southwest off Island late December -43. I surfaced for a short breather early in the morning, and the lookouts started screaming as soon as they got up to the bridge. I got up there, looked to the left and the sky was full off 4 engined planes already diving at us, guns blazing. Crash dived to get the crew down from the bridge before they got killed, I could see the bombs coming, and then all hell broke upon us. Aft torpedo room minor damage, electric engines damaged, starboard diesel destroyed, port diesel damaged, aft batteries damaged, command room, everything damaged + flooding, radio room, all systems down, forw batteries damaged and 3 dead crew, forw torpedo room no damage. I lost all sense off time during the following desperate fight to save the boat and the crew. Back on the surface I discovered that everything on deck was destroyed, conning tower, all flak guns, deck gun, hydrophone, sonar, radar, radar receiver, radio antenna, both periscopes, USO. And we had lost almost all diesel, less than 10% left. I donīt remember hull integrity. So, there we where, no diesel fuel, flat batteries and only the port diesel working, totally blind. Well I marked it as an surrendered carer in sh3 commander. |

Thats some pretty serious damage U-Bones.
I have just ended my first patrol with GW and ended up with HI of 39% after a trip through the English channel. Managed to get traped and pounded by three destroyers. All i could do was sit on the bottom at 31m and wait for them to run out of tin cans. Once they had departed it took quite a while to clear up the damaged and get all the water out. |
After my recent trip to New York:
