This holds true for all immersive games, you like it so much, then you have an OD. It can take months to recover, if you evently do.. if..

I have the same with Flightsim, been a real buff on that for years, but its almost gone. After all you seen it all, no more suprises and so.

It comes back in waves, but each time they seem to be smaller..

I've played SHIII consistently for the 16 months it's been out. I only stopped last week when I lost my apartment; as soon as I have a new place I'm back at sea.

Reason: There is no big "up and down"-effect when shipping the rough sea for example. Your sub should be more shakened when in rough sea. There is no big physical difference of the boat when in calm sea or in rough sea - except the wave heights differs. Well, still waiting for such a mod ;)

But nice to see, that there are still really good mods out for SH3. Maybe Ill try some in a few days. GW looks good ;)

I've played with the 'Big Waves' mod for many months now, and it's included with SH3 Commander. Then interior of my boat is quite violent, so much so that I dive so I don't get seasick. Don't know where you've been that you missed it.

Hi steve.

With a missing "up and down"-effect I mean there is no physical difference of the subs' movement depending the wave heights. If big waves are coming, they just roll over the bridge. If you choose twice big waves the bridge is just deeper under the surface, but the sub itself isnt affected by bigger waves...its just the bridge which is more or less under the surface. Just have a look on the horizon and you see what I mean ;) Its just the same physic, same motion, no matter which wave heights you have choosen ;)

Hope that explained it ;)

Okay, the bridge. I think I do see what you mean. I thought you meant the control room, which to me rocks quite a bit.
