I Voted for the VIIC just because I have spent 90% of my time in it . The type II's are fun but I can bag close to 70,000 tons on the U-69 since Ive went over to manual TDC. Patrol 31 on my latest career I sunk 69,8?0 tons all in grids BF13,12,15 late 42 some were sunk early 43 on the way in.The mission cost me every thing on top of my sub between the DCs and Planes but she made it in.Ive came in a lot of times with my haul down to 25% or less .She can push 20 knots on top and a good 8 down under with my crew. But to be fair I still havnt tried a typeIX career yet:hmm:.

I voted for the IX/D2 .I like the IX series a lot ,even if I have spent most of my time in the VII.Why i like it ?Well,it's a bit slower than the VII and a little bigger, but it has more torps and more upgrade potential, which i find better. The XXI is also good, but it is a bit to big and slow-manovering for my liking...but i would love to get those torpedoes on any other sub:D

The workhorse, the type VII C, :ahoy:

I mainly like the Type VII boats, especialy the C versions
its a really nice Agile boat, fast dive time , manouverable. good load out. I also call the type II boats as funny floating bathtubs:smug: Sometimes I just like to mess with that boat in the english chanal. its just an piece of scrapmetal but still dangerous. I also like the IX boats because you can put an hell of an AA on it, I recall them as floating AA castles  XXI is also a nice long range U boat...but God DAMMIT just when you need them they arent there! I mean the STERN Torpedo's but my vote goes to the VII C  |
How many times has this been done now? More than two.
I don't have a favorite; they're all cool. |
