CB.. you never cease to amaze me. Great job. Great start!

I hope eventually that someone someday will manage to actually add a sub without subtracting another one.

I just cloned the sub to avoid deleting the Type IIA...
unfortunately the tower does not fit... but all in all a great target :D
Any idea about the tower?

I would love to sail this supposedly captured brit sub :D...and go in the tommies' backyard. You could sail surfaced....a flower corvette would come closer to salute you...and in the last moment ZBANG... "All ahead full...starboard rudder (even the telegraph would sound very scared) !!! Captain, torpedo in the water...Oh my god...they're germans !!!"...final moments of the corvette and it's crew :D

That looks really good! Nice work CB:up:

One question though, can it be used to replace a sub other then the IIA? I love the type IIs and would not want to overwrite them. Would rather it replaced one of the VIIs

Actually guess I have 2 questions, what are the capabilities of this sub? is it comparable to the IIA and that is why you replaced it? I ask because of the screens of it in New York.. I am assuming that was done with fuel limits off of a custom mission but am unsure.

Ya know, with a little bit of effort and thinking a full British make-voer and career would be possible. The game would suit it nicely....Sailing out of Gib and Malta, Hunting italian ships....:hmm:
It's possible. It'd take some work, but it has to be doable.

It is do able but its time and expertise

Most of the people tha could do it are engaged on other projects at the mo - but I wouldnt write it off

I took your sub out for a spin, CB, and it was a real pleasure. I knocked up a small Italian convoy with a couple of escorts and enjoyed the alternative experience. I’m not a regular SH3 player ( or sub expert for that matter ) so excuse some questions :-

I found the Italian destroyers weren’t persistent. They located and made a bee line for me but did not attack Not sure how the doctrines work here, but are the Italians less aggressive or experienced ? maybe it was the date of the mission 1941 ? or maybe I should have specified something in the mission editor ?

Was the sub model based on any particular British class ?

There was no deck gun. Was this a model conversion thing ?

:rotfl: Wish I had the time to do all I want to do - am currently in the middle of something myself at the moment too but its a slow process and a steep learning curve:nope:
