Enjoy your hamstrung 32 bit system.

I'm not really sure what you mean here. Can you explain better?

I can't think of a good reason for keeping a 64bit right now - no software I have uses 64bits, and some of it won't run on 64bits. Like some emulators I have, Operation Flashpoint, some old simulators like PS1.3. It's just problem after problem. I read that VISTA may have 32-bit and 64-bit capabilities - which may be the answer.

I looked but I couldn't find any 64bit fix for starforce. I found a No-DVD crack which I'll try out before I uninstall.

Vista will come in both 32 and 64 bit. I remeber back when they were still Betaing XP-64. I raised the concern of starforce and its incompatability with XP-64 to some of the microsoft devs. One of them was very intrested but nothing ever was mentioned after that.

Vista is going through the same 64 bit driver problems as XP-64 went through. no ones making drivers.

The makers of Starforce are also one of the rudest bunch of people Ive encountered when asking about incompatabilities. weve had threads deleted, threatening emails from them and just downright rude people saying it was Ubisofts problem not theirs.

Which at this time there was a very intresting Supreme court ruling. a software developer refused to do modifications on some old software for a company that owned the liscense and physical disks of said software. The software developer told them they could not modify it in anyway, even if it was to get it to work in a diffrent hardware setup. The courts ruled that since they owned the liscense and the physical disks they were allowed to modify and recode the software however they saw fit. I need to do some reserch on what case it was since i dont have a copy of the case.
