Someone could convert that model to work in SHIII, but there are many other more important models which need to be put in the game first. I think the only four-funnelled liner left by WWII was the Aquitania, so such a model would be only a novelty.

Still, very nice looking.

I'd love to have that model, if only, like said, to see it sail in it's splendor with the SHIII engine

JSalinger 05-25-06 05:32 PM

Okay, this is probably going to sound really off color, but how much renown would one get for sinking Aquitania? :D Standard 850?

AG124 05-25-06 05:52 PM

In case no one knows, UBOAT234 has made a four-funnelled liner out of the SHIII Passenger Liner. I think he needs to edit the bridge to make it look older though. Still, it is very good.

The texture is also a bit distorted near the stern of the ship due to him remodelling the stern. :nope:
someone needs to fix that too :yep:
also blows up too easily i find after doing some tests.
I loved the Titanic and her sisters and to "see them" sail in SH3 is a dream come true :ping:

Rose 05-25-06 06:16 PM

God damn those were beautiful ships.

Hartmann 05-25-06 06:18 PM

Could be the titanic sunk by a u boat ?? how many torpedoes coud need ? :hmm:

perhaps 4 or five torpedoes could do the job (watertigh compartments)

Titanic in sh3 .... like a phantom and rusted ship sailing again and again the same route until it hit a iceberg.

Yep. As someone already mentioned, UBOAT234 already made a four funneled liner. Having two or more ingame would skew random liner encounters towards this type of ship; in reality most ships of the time period had only one stack - even big passenger ships. IMO we really need a lot of medium-sized freighters right now...

Sergbuto had identify the source of the renders posted by me as Espona.
The website is --> http://www.deespona.com/3denciclopedia/menu.html

If somebody is interested in the Titanic model, get it from that place.

Thanks Serg.

Okay, you have the world's largest weapon. Your patrol consists of drifting around until you see an enemy ship (since you're an iceberg, all ships are to be considered enemies). Now your only method of attack is to sit there until he rams you. Unfortunately, he can usually spot you pretty easily, so most of the time you watch him change course and go by. Now you drift for another few weeks, until you drift far enough south and you melt. No crew to talk to, no radio for orders from BdI, nothing to do but drift.

And you thought SHIII patrols were boring! :rotfl:

Sorry, wasn't trying to be rude, it just popped into my addled brain.

No, really!

lol! That's about it. Eventually, you will get the excitement of rolling over on your side as your top continues to melt. As you melt you get more unstable thus the continuous rolling.

The model "four" funnel, is a beta release, but the model of simulation is teh same of SH3 liner. For the skin texture, I dont have time for this... in this moment.

Any one have or it wants to make improvements... it is well I accept

The model already exists.
