You haven't you must have a kick ass PC ;). In one of my past jobs we had 32 PCs, 28 or them were running windows and 4 were running an early old mac OS. this was a few years ago so the windows OS were 98 second edition. The server was Windows2000. all PC's were networked. over the 4yrs I was there the macs never broke down, and as far as i can remeber they never ever crashed. They were stable as. Windows on the other hand was just sh*t compared to Macs. They crashed, BSOD, memory problems network problems, while the macs just cruise silently along with no problems. In the end we gave away the windows pcs to a school and brought all macs. The company is still using the same mac machines today.
Macs are stable ask any mac user that also has a windows pc. I would change over to mac in an instant if they were gamer friendly. And use my WindowsXP cd as a frizzbie. :|\

At my High School (Class of '02) we had the placed networked with Macs (~23 in the computer lab plus laptops, 14+ in the library, 1 or 2 in each class, and about 5 PCs in one class), constant headaches. Lost projects, freezes, corrupted data, the works. In computer programming class (off campus) we had about 17 PC in my class alone (each other computer related class had about the same number, the non computer classes had some too especially the GED and medical programs) we never heard a peep of complaint in my three years there, and for two of those years I was in the class the others would generally get called for help- occasionally we would help set up something or “Hay _______ go check out the computer Mr. or Mrs. Blah Blahs class, they need a hand” that that person was back in 20 minutes, but that was it. We never had the massive earth shattering windows problems we all hear about… unless we caused them (occasionally we did for entertainment).
I don’t know maybe it was all the spyware filter junk in the Macs (to make sure us students weren’t looking at naughty pics) or the dozens of students who don’t know what they are doing using them every day. While our PCs were pure and clean (each student was required to reformat and install windows and each program on his or her machine at one point) that caused this discrepancy.
But when it came down to it I always used the few PCs on campus when I got the chance and I never complained... except when the Tec deleted my research paper but that’s another story.
