So it is just 'forget about ASW in FFG' for now ? Yes .. dipping would help a lot .. best would be possibility to add 'dip & scan' waypoint for hello. If it is not last waypoint, it would listen just for a while and then continue to next waypint. At last waypoint it should stay listening.
