I have no guns, so his collection is certainly better than mine. Freedom for firearms is not a good thing for us if idiots like Bush are able to have them. I belive you should have to pass some sort of rigorous "responsibility and intelligence" test to own even one gun. Bush would fail for sure.

Not yet, but I do know a moron when I see one, and I don't want them possessing deadly weapons.

But how can we trust your opinion regarding your moron spotting capabilities? Should we just take your word for it or should we give you a test of some sort?

My grandfather was 80 years old, had a pacemaker and had a nice gun collection. He taught me how to shoot and the "common" rules for firing a gun. Even though I'm a Republican, I feel that the VP was wrong in the aspects of this incident. It was both of their faults as I'm telling my wife. The lawyer for not announcing his presence if he was truely in the "arc" of fire, and the VP's for going after the bird that went outside his "arc" of fire. While hunting pheasant, my family always had a rule that if the bird flew into the 45 degree arc in front of you it was your shot. However, if it went outside the arc, you missed your chance. This was with a line of 5 people.

All it amounts to is a HUGE part of carelessness on the VP's part.
