link for download don't work
 
the link for the download of version 2 of the aotd mod doesn't seem to want to work for me, if i use download accelerator plus it just says it cant find the link and that i have to download from the alternate link download acc plus has provided, if i click on download alternate link there aren't any other links available, also if i try save target as it just downloads for a second then says it's done, but it cant be as this mod is about 80megs as i understand and so when i try and run what i've downloaded obviously it won't work, i tried uboot real simulation and there is only version 1.1 any help would be appreciated as i would rather use a newer version

I'll have a look at the site they (CaptainNemo etc.) are referring to.
It's a german site and I don't suppose you speak German (well, I do :D )
When I find something useful I'll report back.

@all the others who are interested:

First of all, you need to have SH3 patched up to version 1.4b!!!

There are two files you need to download for the AOTD-Modpack:

1. Aces of the Deep Modpack V2.1 file.

Download at:

The link is at the bottom (just below Externer Download-Link)

2. Aces of the Deep Modpack V2.2 Update file.

Download at:

Again the link is at the bottom.

That's it!
Both links work, I tested them.

Realy, but AOTD-Modpack 2.1 is not the latest Version of AOTD-Mods.

The latest Version is called AOTD-Modpack 2.2 and you can get it here : http://www.aotd-flottille.de/wbb2/jg...oad_id=52&sid=

Modpack2.2 is an Update to 2.1 so you have to install 2.1 first !

Hi again,

and if you want a brand new Mod so take this :

This Mod was made by me in June 07 and it is based on the AOTD-Modpack2.2 !
Only problem is, there is no translation into english !
I hope that someone will do it for me.
It contains some features of GWX, mixed with the AI of the AOTD-Online-Campaigns.
The Destroyers are very Strong in late war.
There Active-Sensors are very strong but the Passiv-Sensors of the AI are not so even strong like the GWX one.
The Damagesystem is based on the GWX-Modell but it is much harder !
Sometimes you need 3 Torpedos to sink a Destroyer but mostly a Destroyer runs away when he was hit by one Torpedo but sometimes he comes back when he has repaired his damage !
Your Boat is wrecked when you got more then 8 Hits from a Destroyergun.
Try out and you will see !

Installation :
You need following Basic-Installation´s to install MadMax´s Modpack 2007

- Sh3 patched with Patch1.4
- AOTD-Modpack 2.1

Now i released some Upgrades for my Modpack wich fixed Bugs and add some new Vehicles into the Mod.

First Upgrade is the "Ship Upgrade V1.0" :
This Upgrade add some new Ships from SH4 into the Mod !

Second Upgrade is the "Real War Upgrade V1.0" :
This Upgrade add some realistic Szenes like the "sinking of the Bismarck" into the Campaign !
Radiomessages will show you the right way to the Action !

Third Upgrade is the "Ship Upgrade V2.0" :
This Upgrade add some more Ships from SH4 and some more new Skins into the Mod !

And the last Upgrade is the "Real Tonnage Upgrade" :
This Upgrade will fix the Problem with the high Tonns of some Merchants.
Example:
Merchants must be counted in GRT, not in Tonns like Warships.
An KGN got over 11.000 Tonns ( normal SH3 Version ) but in GRT they got only something about 7000 GRT !
I fixed this to all Merchants by using a Translation-List mady by rowi58 from the UBI-Forum.

Because, this thread is titled 'AOTD-Modpack v. 2.0 released' and consequently you wouldn't think of another modpack being also released.:yep:

Got everything, installed them as advised, ran first mission of campaign (1939) in a Type II. Nice.:up: Especially the ships ported from SH4 are real beauties, even people on deck - static however. Somewhat odd to see the tiny sailors and captain stay immobile when ship is sinking, but all in all a beautiful adition.
The only time I was puzzled was when, returning to base after the patrol in which I sunk a Brit merchant, I got zero renown. Is this normal, or bad install?
