Looks like the shroud extends up to the leading edge of the stern planes.

That would mean they modified the stern planes and shaft mechanism. This is not a minor alteration.

She's even featured in one of my missions that happens to take place near the Black Sea...

Well without the pumpjet and the extra steath it provides its really just another Kilo, not a super improved a$$ kicking kilo.
