unfortunately i don't have time to translate the website at the moment. I will do that later.

The final version of Subwolves will be available in three languages.
(German, French, Englisch)

Subwolves is a turned based strategy game about the uboat war of the atlantik during WWII. You play as BdU and so you have fully control about all important aspects for leading an uboat fleet. (research, buy units, support,...)

You can use Subwolves with SH3 but you don't have to. If you do, then you can choose for each battle (between an uboat and allied units), if you want play through the battle in SH3 or if Subwolves should calculate the missionresults. If yes, then Subwolves generates a .mis file with the actual situation of Subwolves and copies the .mis file to the single-player folder of SH3. After playing through the mission, Subwolves reads out the results and you can go on in Subwolves.

The release will be in spring 06, I hope so.

Short, Subwolves is a mix of Panzer-General and Medieval TotalWar.

btw
If someone is interested in translating my homepage, I would be very happy about that. So, translate the text, write it in a .doc file, send it to me and I will implement the englisch text. thanks.

Now this sounds like a very interesting concept. There is a game in production for Combat Mission Barbarrosa To Berlin , which has the same idea. Manage the game in campaign mode and at any time drop to the individual battles.
Now if there was a league setup somewhere , where one person was in charge of the BDU, using this new game when it comes out, and he had his various Uboat commanders in touch via email. He could send the generated .mis file to him to actually sail and then get the return file by email to allow Seawolves to calculate the results. This could then be posted on a site showing the progress of the camapign etc.....just an idea :)

IMPORTANT

Subwolves is the name of my project

Seawolves is the name of another project. I have nothing to do with this Seawolves!

IIRC it allows you to play on a strategic level, commanding the entire Kriegsmarine, while also letting you go on patrol using the existing SH3 engine.

I see..Like the same concpet as Rome Total War
Sounds very interesting :yep:
