I then deselect the modifier tab and delete all unused objects only leaving the modified Mast. I then export it back out of Max and back into the 3D folder as an obj file inside the Type36a folder in the Sea folder. Then with Pack3d I import the New modified Mast back into the Type36a.dat. The problem is that the XYZ coordinates of the mast are not present on the 3D object, its position is indicated by a file that build all the separate parts into a finished model. Maybe if you add an "anchor" let say put a vertex on it centre of gravity in such way that the stupid file will search a center of it and put the mast on the correct position it can work, its complex, maybe Sansal know where the XYZ coordinates can be placed, a more easy solution.
