Pascal, may I suggest that you package the officer icons separately from the dials, as there are mods out there dedicated solely to the icons?

BladeHeart 09-27-05 08:06 AM

Could someone please tell me the name of the mod used on the officer icons, in the picture two posts above?

Thanks :)

Have just installed the dials, so I'll try them out soon.

:lurk:

Bah! Here's the link on Pascal's site:

You don't need to log in to anything there.

Pascal did a new version of the CA dials.
He has replaced the word "Voltmeter" with "Ampere"
(Pascal, you should get rid off the letter "s" ;) )

Anyone here who is familar with electricity and could tell what was correct.
I remember i had a dial in one of my cars displaying the battery power.
It was displayed in "Volt", so it was a "Voltmeter" i guess.
Of course you cant compare to a sub...

Avon Lady, thank you.

I have made the changes of removing the "s" in the Ampere meter. I can sent it to you if you want to update the mod (with Pascals permission of course)?

And it's right to have a Amp meter!

Would the modders be willing to let us use these lovely dials in RUb? I'd love to have these gauges in RUb. The only thing that stopped me from asking before was that I thought the mod required changes to be made in the menu_1024_768.txt file, but I just noticed that's not the case.

All of these mods use the data\Menu\menu_1024_768.ini file.

Alternatively, would the modders be willing to let me add these changes and use the mod in RUb? I'm not sure when I'd get time to do the adjustments, but I'd love to have these gauges in RUb.

Good idea, furthermore with the advent of Sergbuto's reflection fix for the Type II's, Type IX's, and conning towers etc... It would seem some of the NSS_Uboat_xxx .DAT files will need to be re-packaged to include .tga files that have been found there and altered by texture modders.

Going without the new water reflections is really not an option anymore.

I actually wrote that before I realised that there is no menu_1024_768 in these mods.

lol I just realized that too... I was thinking too far ahead about the NSS_Uboat_xx files and the tga's packed in there that Pascal has modded.

Pascal 10-02-05 03:03 PM

My work is an open work and can of course be used in yours own mods
