The Gimp also has a feature like that.

I tried that feature and it worked great! :D
This is my result(the pic is a bit offtopic :) )

hey when SH3 came out one of the first things i did was something simular to this. Theres so much you can do with this game for entertainment. I never gave mine that comic look though like you have, which i think is a good idea. my comic was around 90 pages of captured screens I then added in my storyline with the captions etc., and then renderd it into a comic strip movie using Camtasia Studio and sent it off to PCPOWERPLAY gaming magazine. My movie strip was to large to be on there cd space at the time, so its used for family viewing especially around a few beers.

My story was a one off, at the end they in U 575 all died.... but they died with honor

Thanks everyone :) I'll see what I can do for U-101's second patrol.

I had a big shock when I saw this featured on the SubSim main page :o :D

very cool. Thanks for sharing with us

Patrol 2 is coming along very well indeed - I would go so far as to say this one looks terrible next to it ;)

Improvements include; spelling, storyline, art, characters, a more user friendly yellow for narration boxes, and more!

Here's a small sample:

Here is a shot I took of a C Class lighting up. I used The Gimp's cartoon feature.

I tried something like this a while back, but all I got is the paint program that came with XP and I wasn't satisfied with what I got.

This, this is awesome....great job, Katach![/img]

I'm impressed!

Nice cartoon style pics! Nice concept as well

It looks nice from what I can see, but would someone mind zipping it or something? More than half the panels don't load, even when I hit "refresh".

The Gimp is a freeware, open source program. You should give it a try.
