Has to be in the RND layer though. I don't see anything like that in the SCR :hmm:

I don't know where it came from, but it wasn't IC. The latest unreleased (but available) version has some experimental TFs with more cruisers and fewer BBs, but I have ColumnsNo=3 so I have no idea if it'll form up correctly or just out right crash. I haven't had time to test it. |
Oh no, I wasn't accusing you of it at all :)
I think we all know too well that default SHIII's campaign holds many mysteries yet undiscovered (and, seriously, whoever visits the FN grid on a day-to-day-basis?) |
I looked again, it was in DH19.

I looked through the RND layer. There IS a chance something this size could appear, actually. But half the ships in task forces that size are generally 50% spawn probability, so the chances of something like this happening, are, well, VERY small. I guess ya got lucky  |
Sigh.
I said I've been through the RND and the combination he encountered does _not_ exist, but phpBB ate my post. Anyway, it's _not_ in the stock RND or IC. |
oh. I was under the impression that there were groups of Generic ships of that size. Well, I don't know - that's your call.
Only one other theory I have: he actually saw two groups together. That, or there's something wacky with his campaign files. :hmm: |
I turned up my opportunity contacts to something like 9000. I've seen the "sub hunter" task forces listed on the nav-map, and they were always south of the equator. Never had the....pleasure of coming across one.
I do believe I'll be loading the improved convoys mod this weekend... |

But you cannot skip Type= and get any Class && Type. The game will crash. What he saw is not possible in the regular game. |
