I´m a little worried about the upcoming events... So go for northern ireland, it´s a great place and you have enough water under the boat. |
Well after considering all your posts (except that one by satmax who obviously wants to see me sunk) I decided to head for Gibralter. The reasons are these.
I have been to the AM51 AM53 area many times already. I don't want to die (English channel). The Carribean sounds nice but a VIIC doesn't have the range to do the return trip and Uncle Karl would not be happy. I don't want to die (Ports) and I only do one harbour mission per career. South of Ireland was just too close and too easy. So as the crew did need a bit of warm weather and sun I thought Gibralter sounded good and we will stop off in Spain on the way home. I have heard that a U boat man can find a good time in Spain. Also there are inteligence reports that there are good convoys and task forces comeing out of Gibralter. Sarge |
There is probably heavy allied warship activity around the area west of gibraltar..
They´re defending the entrance to the strait. Watch for planes too! Be careful and good luck... |
really guys, i prefer the med, the sun, the sea, valetta, alexandria and gibralta :)
