I come up now and again to snort the diesels...but I've been a little morose when SCS said that there wouldn't be addons...

DW has been collecting dust a bit, I've been playing VBS1 almost constantly in my free time...

Thankfully, now that Jamie said that he's looking into ways of getting the addons going again, that Western Diesel MAY be reality in the distant future ;)

Yes sir, Stewy. I think that a western diesel would be a real easy one for SCS to do. They already have the Kilo modelled. It's just a matter of designing new interfaces and tweaking the performance (acoustics, sensors, and such) of the platform. The next is to choose which one to model.....Collins, 212, 209, Upholder, any of the Japanese diesel subs. Cool possibilities.

Now back to the topic, even though I don't know of you very well Mcarm, it's nice to see more guys with that SCX symbol showing up in the forums. Gives us hope for good things to come. :up:

Well lads I'm no Thomasew. In fact, the last time I tried to release a SCX mod Tom had to come to the rescue :oops: Anyway, let me get my bearings again and I'll see what we can do. Xab, did you find Ludgers email yet???
