I typically dive right away when I see the warship message, afterall dds are not my main target. But in several patrols I have yet to see a "true" warship let alone a task force. I had to do something. It was very exciting. I was just fortunate to meet up at night where I didn't have to worry about submerging until they were about 2500-3000m away. Otherwise I would have been taking a shot from much further away.

Is there any "warranted way" how to get to contact with a battleship or some other warship? I have passed throuhg more than 30 patrols and the only warship i found was FIJI cruiser anchored in Scapa Flow. Any great advices how to find battleships/airplane carriers and so on?

Sure would be nice to know the Allied warship routes for other vessels than destroyers.... :cry:
