Not at all. I tend to not liking parties that much anyway, I am a quite unsocial man. We had that cake, no nuts in it, but a simple Gugelhupf (ring cake? Bundt cake?) with no glaze. Its a very simple cake and thats what makes it one of the best cakes. :up:

That sweet my Mum does not bake it. The powder sugar also is missing. There is a variation I also like, in German its called Marmorkuchen, I think thats marble cake in English. It has beige vanilla-dough like in the above, but also mixed in are parts of dark brown cacao-dough.

Not everything was bad before carnivore... :) Donauwellen. Eierschecken. Käsekuchen. Butterkuchen. Schwarzwälderkirschtorte. Echte Sachertorte. :haha: And of courses, Belgian waffles with whipped cream and cherries. I killed for that...
