This is paid only for the time they are working. Actors do not work 2,080 hours a year.



Actors depend on the residual payments from past performances. With streaming, one of the things they are complaining about is the lack of residuals as the industry is still using old methods of calculating.


I get it, a lot of people resent the top paid actors. I get it. I don't care for them either. But there are a lot more people who are not earning that much.


We should not let our emotions about the top earners be applied to the many actors who have done us no wrong.

Its easy to joke about AI and streaming until it targets your job. :O:

Hollywood has had a very successful relationship with the unions and the writer's guild for about as long as there has been a Hollywood.
