After a long time sitting somewhere on my hard drive, I think I have finished this medium-sized (4500 tons) Italian merchant.
https://i.imgur.com/GY7i4fw.jpeg Not very accurate or detailed, but references on the net are few and only had one sketch to work with, so I'm quite happy with the result. |
Oooo-ooo-ooohhh... new target!!! :arrgh!: Noice!

That's an old SH3 one, AA cruiser Scylla by Jack410.
Gave it a new coat of paint and some minor 3D changes, and looks great in my Dark Waters install (which is on the verge of collapse due to the number of added ships). https://i.imgur.com/PMdjYXS.jpeg |
An interesting ship, if only for the number of navies she served on.
https://i.imgur.com/DQtxFZV.jpeg The avisos of the Elan class went to fill the roster of both the Vichy France and Free French navies after the French armistice of 1940. One of them was kept by the British and spent the whole war in the Royal Navy. Then some of the Vichy ships moved to the Free French after the Torch landings, and those scuttled at Toulon were recovered by the Italians, who comissioned two of them in the Regia Marina. Some others, not yet repaired by the Italians, were captured by the Germans and used in the Mediterranean until the 1944 landings in Southern France. That makes 6 different navies in SH4 (Marine Nationale, Vichy France, Free French Forces, Royal Navy, Regia Marina and Kriegsmarine). :salute: |

Coming soon (I'm writing the readme file). Three Japanese liners that were pressed into service in WW2. Two of them (the ones converted into submarine tenders) didn't make it to the end of the war, and only the Hospital ship survived (nowadays a museum ship in Yokohama, Japan). |
WIP HMS Barham and HMS Malaya
https://i.imgur.com/lj8H5u7.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/Ry3iF9L.jpeg Created from the SH3 Revenge battleship, most weapons by The Frog for SH3 and the octuple pom-pom guns from WoWs, and a couple of parts from the SH5 ships. Useful for Dark Waters installations. They're not 100% accurate ships, but I guess it's better than nothing :O:. |
