I didn't say anyone was shot on the steps. Your wall of text doesn't support your statement that Santa was arrested for not masking up.

EDIT: Wrong thread. "One Proud Boy clown sentenced to 51 months after pleading guilty and agreeing to cooperate. Maybe the first domino."

August 12-24-21 05:34 PM

Ah I see, he wasn't arrested for not wearing a mask but for not showingthem his papers.Yeah that's so much better.

Buddahaid 12-24-21 06:19 PM

Must you evade the point. It's their law and it's also law in some US states. The point is the original post's claim was false.

Rockstar 12-24-21 07:44 PM

No it wasn’t false. Do you honestly think polizei would have suspected Santa Claus of being part of a protest had he been masked? I’d bet you dollars to donuts the FACT he was not masked was used by polizei to articulate their suspicions and investigate further.

Or do you really think polizei just confronted Santa Claus for grins?

"Officers asked participants to show their IDs, noting that the gathering wasn’t registered and therefore constituted a criminal offense for the organizer. The man dressed as Santa, who wasn’t working at the Christmas market, refused to provide his name to officers, according to the report, and pulled away as police escorted him out. The police statement said a complaint was made against the 47-year-old local man “on suspicion of resisting law enforcement officers,” among other allegations. He was released by police that evening after being identified."

You can make up your own stories. I know your good at it.

This thread alone is a proof of itself how far we got. Everybody builds his own news-stories from social media. Maybe I should develop a story generator with the open AI GPT3 model and can earn money.

Merry Christmas.

THE FACTS: A man in a Santa costume was detained by police at a Christmas market in Stralsund, Germany, but police said it was because he refused to show identification at an unregistered protest against vaccine mandates, not because he wasn’t wearing a mask.
I gave you the link to the official press release from Neubrandenburg Police Headquarters Stralsund

Again, What drew the police to Santa to begin and start asking question? It’s called reasonable suspicion. Namely he was not wearing a mask, his association and interactions with known protestors, and words he spoke. ALL facts and observations played a roll in what lead up to his so called ‘detention’. It’s what we in law enforcement call clues and open doors to further investigation..

The way AP makes it sound Santa went full on UFC when police just out of the blue asked for ID.

Merry Christmas.

In Danish you can say either
God Jul
or
Glædelig Jul (this one is closer to Merry Christmas)

Nope,

Though I see little value in the story of Jesus’s divinity, miracles and murderous human sacrifice. Since those topics have through the ages only lead to deadly arguments between people. However like Thomas Jefferson I do find value in what he taught.

And yes, I have a copy.

But I still prefer drinking my home brew getting silly drunk and putting out my yule goat in the front yard instead of a nativity scene. :D

Quote:

Shake off all the fears of servile prejudices, under which weak minds are servilely crouched. Fix reason firmly in her seat, and call on her tribunal for every fact, every opinion. Question with boldness even the existence of a God; because, if there be one, he must more approve of the homage of reason than that of blindfolded fear." —Thomas Jefferson, 1787

To Jefferson, no tradition was so sacred as to escape reconsideration in the light of new discoveries and the progress of knowledge. Jefferson viewed the Gospels through the lens of the Enlightenment, a flowering of scientific experiment and rational enquiry in the 18th century.
Reworking parts of the New Testament was an extension of his revolutionary spirit. Jefferson had challenged the authority of the monarchy, questioned the sovereignty of Parliament, and opposed aristocratic privilege in American society. He had drafted the Declaration of Independence, taken part in revisiting the laws of Virginia, and helped establish new legal principles and education institutions. In religion as in politics, he imagined liberating contemporary minds from inherited misconceptions and superstitions.

Staying OT
Erased it it was to much off Topic. Even though it had to do with Jesus and Christmas ?

I don't think anyone really knows. The date was chosen to usurp pagan ritual as I understand it.
