My biggest question is, why didn't you ride this beautiful bike more ? I'm hoping it was just that you didn't have time as opposed to health related reasons. The Speedmaster really was a beautiful motorcycle and had a Unique profile.

I took a job that requires a LOT of time away from home and a LOT of travel.
As the years went by on the road?
I watched as cell phones were causing more accidents/near accidents.
I decided after MANY years of riding? I didn't want to be one of those statistics.
So I gave it up. SpeedMaster sat for 10 years. Always inside!
I do take a spin now and then on Nancy Lady's 2004 America.

I completely understand that. I have had a few close calls with people not paying attention or on their cell phone / texting. In fact, I don't know anyone who rides who hasn't had close calls. I stopped riding for a while but got back into it when I was refurbishing them. I did that on the side as a hobby but wanted to ride more. I would have liked to have seen you your speedmaster as I probably would have bought it.

My lady would have loved that as it would have given her yet another reason to be mad at me. :03:I'm one step away from being banished to the garage on a permanent basis now. :03:

This is mine.

This is what my Vulcan looks like. I have the Vance and Hines pipes on mine, Highway pegs and Corbin seat with a back rest. I also have the original parts that came with it.

I'll upload pics from a day before I sold it.
Now I had a LOT of good stuff on it!
Corbin Gun fighter seat, custom intake I built, chrome bolts replaced with Stainless steel, etc.

You'll probably throw up when you find out what I let it go for.
:haha:

I let it go for $1500

The Guy that bought is started riding with a Triumph.
That went in his favor! I wanted someone that would love it as much as I did.
It sat 10 years and in 2 days? He was riding it!
New plugs, new battery, and he rebuilt the carbs.
:yeah:

Those are beautiful pictures of your bikes , how can i show pictures like that?
and how far do you live from me? After 2nd week in April i will be ready for a bike ride and an open air lunch and talk to you about Motorcycles. If it's possible i would feel like Tom Hanks leaving his island.

You can upload the pics to an album and then include the links in your post.

https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/images/photo_howto/

Or, after you make the post with pic attached as you did here, edit the post and add the attached pic url.

Go to your user profile.
Go to Pictures & Albums.
Add Album.

Then it should be pretty clear from there.

Jeff , I know how you feel about letting your bike set . My job took me out of town and away. I paid my son to start it and polish it twice a month. While i was away truck driving. He never had a interest in driving that heavy chunk of American Steel.Anyway that's a damn good lookin bike in its present shape, 0000 steel wool, polish and some sweat she would look as good as the day you brought her home. And i don't think it will be your last Bike.

I think sometime in the future , We may be talking about those Triumph Scramblers ! Traffic is bad here too, something like that 900 with a silent exhaust and the nimble way it could be handled by those who know. Well lets see what the future brings to us. Live long and Live my friend.:D

Ok thanks, guy's I will check it out, I have been workin a new job driving cars and possibly in the future motorcycles for the local Used car dealers. From the Auction site here outside of the city of Orlando Fl. Back to the lot's of the buyers . You just never know when one door shuts another will open. It's cash money to help supplement my retirement.I'll take it until the Demorats get total control and then they will take the every thing that you have left. First your money then Your mind ...Resistance is futile, It will be then i will be looking for Elysium.

Thanks so much. I took the Shadow to the parts store yesterday along with a friend who had his Harley out. It was a bit chilly but still nice to be out. I'm in the upper mid west. My parents had a place not far from you in the Zephyr / Spring Hill area of Florida. I remember it being very hot in July there !!!!. A good friend I played football with in HS moved and started a business in Orlando.

You and your wife most certainly would be welcome to ride with us. They ride a wide assortment of machines too, including Harley and Gold wing trikes, Can am 3 wheel Spyders and the odd assortment of Harley and Japanese cruisers. We always pick a point of interest and ride out, sometimes to other states. We have one guy and his wife who rides a Harley trike and he is 80 years old. They are both great people. Then again, the vast majority of people on bikes that I have had the pleasure and privilege of meeting have all been great people.

A good friend of mine invited me to join him on a ride to Carlisle Pa. for military day but he informed me they have cancelled it due to Covid Concerns. It would have been a long run. A lot of the people we ride with are ex military / ex police. It wasn't planned that way, just the way it worked out but we have just as many who are not either of them.

My friend yesterday with the Harley commented on how great his Dyna, like yours, was and how sorry he is to have let it go. Btw, your Dyna looks awesome. Absolutely first rate. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:
Keep up the great work on keeping it so clean and DON'T ever get rid of it. You will be sorry if you do. We can always chat and feel free to leave a private message should you want, as well.

I had it stored in my Cousin's Garage for the last 5 years as he was going to buy it. Before that it was in my back room.
The pipes are Stainless Steel and all your seeing is the dust!

My Cousin was diagnosed with terminal cancer and expected to pass in 2 months or so.
I have no room to store it so it had to go.

I actually sold it on payments several times but everyone that entered into the contracts couldn't meet the payments!
So I probably made $3000 easy.
:)
