Nice clip but they should have used the German voice files. :)

I rather think about converting raw audio to wav

Right. Bring the aircraft and escort behavior modeling over too while you're at it. :)

Yes, the work is definitely more complicated,he,he

Moin, moin ...
The sounds of AotD and CAotD can be converted comfortably with Audacity, just pay attention to the bit import value ca 11 000, the wrong value is noticed when it is too fast.

Thats the one I tried awhile back and got lost in. :) Think I'll download it again though and see if I'm any smarter since then...... :D
Thanks !

Moin, moin ....
note, in Audacity go to import/raw data and then set the sample rate to 10 / 11000 Hz, you have to try it.
then it works.
This is how I did it.

ivanov.ruslan 02-03-21 04:28 AM

Thanks, i'll try later

I set the rate to 100/11000 to get the full sound length of the file. Works perfect.
I could spend a lot of time with this ! Several AOD sounds that would be nice to have in SH3 for various functions that have no sound with them now but that would require skills beyond me to make them work in SH3.
But it converts to either .wav or .ogg perfectly. Going to try adding that "oh crap !" AOD destroyer approaching sound to replace the wimpy SH3 one.:)

Fyi, the German voice files all start with <number>G<letter>. English is the same except E for G.
I.e., the smoke on the horizon file is 6GA. The various named files are easy to figure out what does what.
