M. :Kaleun_Salute: |
Don't you be going the "oldmanitis" route yet!!! It's too soon! (took three tries for me to spell it correctly, btw)...
btw, s7rikeback, excellent mod! I love it (even if I do say so myself). :salute: |
I think i found an issue last night. Started a new campaign in the asiatic fleet in a S boat. On load in noticed the troop ship across the harbor was all black and missing textures. Removed Nippon Maru (v1.2) mod and textures returned. Reloaded and same issue returned. Yes im running FOTRS 1.46 or whatever the newest version is.

Many thanks for the report. :salute: I have managed to tracked down that texture issue to the British flagged European Built Liner. Last edit was dated 2018-11-18.:o:hmmm: This is now fixed, plus another small issue I found in the names.cfg. file. I will upload Nippon_Maru_v1.2.1 tomorrow after work, which will have the changes included. |

Minor update - please see first page.
15/04/2021 - v1.2.1
- Data > Roster > Names.cfg - cfg file updated to remove duplicate named ship. - Data > Roster > British > Sea > PLConteVerde.cfg - wrong texture call corrected. - Data > SinglePatrols > Aleutians_420520_S-23 > Aleutians_420520_S-23.mis - 2 x UnitType errors fixed. - Data > SinglePatrols > Aleutians_420612_S-27 > Aleutians_420612_S-27.mis - UnitType error fixed. |
Ahoy S7rikeback,
I have added Nippon Maru v1.2.1 to the newest FotRS Ultimate v.1.46. I have noticed the mod loads faster with the Nippon Maru v1.2.1! I haven't noticed any problems. I will post if any are encounter. Awesome mod, thank for work! :yeah: Larry |

I've posted this also in the FOTRSU thread, but I figured I'd post it here as well in the hopes of getting some help.
I'm running into an issue where the Heiyo Maru (so far... can't be sure of any other ship yet) doesn't have textures and appears completely black, but this only happens while out on campaign and it looks just fine when I look at it in the Museum (idk about one-off missions yet as I've not found one there to check). From what I can tell, its only this ship and only out in the game world and I'm using a copied load order / mod list from someone who doesn't appear to have the same problem so I'm not really sure what could possibly be causing it. Here is a copy of my current mod list: Code:
100_FalloftheRisingSun_Ultimate_v1.46_EN Any help in sorting this out would be greatly appreciated. |

With that all said, I'm running the game on the following system / settings: -Windows 10 Pro -I7-4770K -32GB RAM -GTX 2080S -Game installed on an SSD -SH4 version 1.5 -All graphical settings maxed EDIT: I've now further narrowed this issue to only this mod as running without this mod fixes the issue. I'm currently trying to redownload the mod to see if I've gotten some corruption in the download that affected the texture in question, but other than that, I'm basically out of ideas as to why this mod might break that specific ship. |

Hello AviatorMan, Many thanks for the report - I will investigate and publish findings/fix later today. Contrary to understanding mods and compatibilities, no other mod in your list would have a "Heiyo Maru" so your investigative work has paid off. |
Notice: Nippon Maru v1.3 is now available, please see page one.
If you have issues, or see a problem, please leave a message here! Thanks. s7rikeback. |
