Real WWII Convoys...

Would also be grand to see (if doable, to maybe see of being able to add them into the campaign mode... do know that it would be work to do so... but to get orders to patrol & sink shipping in convoys going that route would be awesome... Not only for SH3, but as an add in to SH4 Operation Monsun (am sure Fifi could see of maybe adding this in to his OM+OMEGU compilation...) just a thought... :Kaleun_Salute: |
CCoM10
Great work! Are these also available for CCoM10.0?
|
Sorry I dont have CCom10.0 but if CCom10.0 as the same ship roster as GWX so just like stock SH3 missions would work in GWX then the missions should work with CCOM10.0
But will be starting writing LSH15 versions of these Missions |
How can these be integrated into the GWX3 campaign?

Hi John Re Random Leyer is being used also but had to strip out all the Random Convoys so there wasn't any Convoys crashing into each other in the Atlantic or around ports
This campaign was written for the Steel Sharks when a Convoy was found that Uboat player would shadow the Convoy vector in other Players/Uboats on our forum radio message posts in their single player identical campaign with same game files and when they have all found same convoy then the multiplayer Mission would be written same ships in same place within the Convoy same loadouts same crew class ect then we would play the wolfpack attack on Tunngle Evolve or Hamachi. https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/pic...ictureid=10974 |

Question Please
I've been playing careers, ever since I've I started playing SHIII. I have just discovered "Single Missions" after reading this thread the other day. I wasn't very experienced with single missions, but I gave it a try. I figured I'm doing something wrong here. When I load the first single mission, 1939-09-16-2200 (con OB-4) for example, I get a TypeVII boat in the external view and a TypeII boat in the "weapons management and crew management" screens. Then followed by major damage through-out the boat. It does the behavior for the first 3 or 4 single missions then when I get down to the 5th mission, all works as advertised. Any help or guidance would be appreciated .... Jerry

Hi Doolar ive seen that sort of thing before when playing a campaign loading in a saved game
Try playing the missions as multiplayer/Lan but theres only one uboat in the missions so you are playing it as a lone hunter so to speak but when the mission is complete and you end the mission on the score screen it tells you your total tonage also at the bottom theres a detailed results tab click on that and it tells you the real historic names of Ships Sunk and Tonage let me know if the Multiplayer Missions do the same. Regards blackswan |
re
Blackswan40, I did what you suggested then I selected the Type VII (1939) for the Multiplayer Mission 1939-09-16-2200 (OB-4), and it worked perfectly. I would guess a Type VII Boat was the boat to use in this mission ? It works great now, so thank you for the help :Kaleun_Cheers:
