It's called e-mail address spoofing Reece, they really have not taken over your email account, or your computer for that matter.

Thanks, my porn pictures are safe!

In my own experience I found a full scan with Windows Security would find the trojan.

You nasty man.

Next time tape over the computer camera lens.

Uh, I read about that on the Internet.

This was the first thing I did, when I got my new computer-covered the camera with duck tape.

Before and after I have read and heard people in charge telling people to cover they camera.

Reminds me of the time I got locked out with ransomware from the 'West midland police', (even though I'm not in their area) threatening me with a court case for downloading Warez and and other illegal activity - unless i paid them a tidy sum of course.
Restored my system from a recovery point and all was well.

I had a similar thing like that but in my case I bought a new pc as that one was old and was showing signs it was about to conk out any day. Slight different was they demanded I pay £10,000 the next day and every day that slipped by not paying them additional £5,000 a day on top be charged. And by the end of the week any property I had would be taken away from me. Bunch of their ransom on the harddrive was removed with a hammer. :har:

That one is laughable STEED, £10,000 + £5,000 for each day not paid, is too ridiculous, you'd think these guys would come up with a more realistic scenario!! :haha:

It's quite worrying when you take into account some people pay up.

Most of us can spot dumb scams but some don't and it's them these vermin pray on.
