Try not to think of how much of his money is tax free. :(

I have long since stopped to differentiate between Christian mysticism, and Zen/Ch'an masters.
https://www.plough.com/en/topics/cul...easter-reading This "preacher", all the other word-enriched television-evangelical supermen, should be reminded of Matthew 6:6 : "When you pray, go into your room to your Father who is in the secret place." The temple is our inner heart where we pray a prayer of silence, but a reply we only may hear when there are no other strange guests inside, for that would mean we leave our soul occupied with what is not the essence. Their audience of course should be reminded even more pressingly of this. Leave the showacts to Las Vegas. And churches compare to the real temple like Disney land to reality. The wordlessness of Zen, the metaphorical interpretation of the new gospel by Christian mysticism - where is the difference? I see none. Meister Eckhart again: "Indeed, if a man thinks he will get more of God by meditation, by devotion, by ecstacy, or by special infusion of grace than by fireside or in the stable - that is nothing but taking God, wrapping a cloak around his head and shoving him under a bench. For whoever seeks God in a special way, gets the way and misses God, who lies hidden in it. But whoever seeks God without any special way gets him, as he is in himself." And Lao Tse: The tao that can be spoken, is not the eternal tao. The name that can be named, is not the eternal name. |

Yes, not bad for a diabolical, agnostical atheist sinner, n'est-ce-pas? :D :shucks:

It is the love of money and the love of the world (lust of the eyes and lust of the flesh) that is driving this preacher Jesse Duplantis to seek this venue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ using a $54 million dollar jet that seats 8 passengers and three crew. His preacher friend Kenneth Copeland also has the same problem. They are of the same ink ... The good Lord gives discernment to those that seek it .., I for one do not follow these evangelist. Birds of a feather flock together, but must I remind you not to judge Christ followers or diabolical, agnostic, atheist for their faith, but for their fruit. :yep: Kenneth Copeland Ministries Gulfstream V https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxmQmDEytdo |

This was a great explanation of tele-evangelists. There is a huge difference in true believers and those like these tele-evangelists. Sadly, if they bought this idiot 3 jets already, they are likely to buy him the forth as well. Nice job of pointing out the differences. :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up: |

:haha: That's a possibility. I rather think this episode will wake people up to how these Idiots operate, and not give them any more of their hard earned money. Hope springs eternal. :yep: |

This guy is apart of the blight on modern Christianity called the prosperity gospel, also known as the health and wealth gospel, or the gospel of success. It's basically a pyramid scheme with the preachers at the top. It prays on the gullible and the desperate. It's a scam. Of course they can claim it works because they are at the top. Scumbags.
