No worries, you folks keep doing what you've been doing and I'll certainly contribute cash to the cause!!!

Gentlemen,

As you can see, I am a noob to this forum. A grand lurker, ye might say, who has been frequenting this site on and off for - gosh - I guess close to 15 years? Can that be possible?

What's obvious is that I am not a frivolous poster. :O:

midnight.mangler! :Kaleun_Salute: I'm always amazed what brings the silent runners to the surface after half a decade!

The wait is unbearable ,but the longer it take to get the game out the less problems with it when it is. Keep up the get work:Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

Wait, what?! For real? I might have to lock my family in the basement to get some alone time if it's out soon. :)

Nippelspanner 06-02-17 06:44 AM

For real.
Julhelm said it on the steam forums.

No pressure, Julhelm... :yeah:

A tip of the hat to my shipmates Giesemaschine and Aktungbby.

:Kaleun_Salute:

Yes, well - a subsim harking back to the good old days of the post WW2 Cold War is as rare as hens teeth these days, so I will always pop my periscope up at the mention of a spiritual red storm rising remake. Anybody who wouldn't surely has no pulse!

I will watch Crimson tide tonight to get me in the mood for some Los Angeles class Cold War action. Assuming the heavens smile upon us and Cold Waters is released I will basically submerge for the rest of the weekend, only upping periscope to work firing solutions on drinks and snacks and perform various biological functions. And to top it all off, it's a long weekend where I am, so timing could not be better....

Please Killerfish... please!

Christmas in June? The world is mad I tell you...

Errrr, Crimson Tide -> Los Angeles class? :hmmm:
You probably want to watch some Hunt for Red October if you want some LA action... :03:

Ya Crimson Tide was an Ohio class Ballistic missile sub. But I get the point. I for sure am watching Crimson Tide, and Hunt for Red October. And also some Down Periscope just for giggles.

midnight.mangler 06-02-17 07:55 AM

Indeed, you are right! My bad. Haven't watched it in ages. Obviously it was an Ohio because the whole plot revolved around the nukes now that I think back. I just remember it as one of the best sub movies I watched in ages that wasn't WW2 focused.

Thanks for reminding me about RSR the Movie. Doh! Not as good as Crimson Tide but more relevant. Maybe I will watch that instead!

just posted on the steam forum unfortunately:

"Release Delayed
Turns out it will be several more days until release...
Hang in there."

Julhelm 06-02-17 08:51 AM

So it turns out this time Steam has to review the game build before it gets released, which 'normally takes 2-3 days but may take up to 5 business days' whereas with Atlantic Fleet it just unlocked after a couple hours. Or maybe we had to be but forgot about it? Either way it'll probably be next week, which gives us time to polish the build even more.

I'm kind of glad because I already have plans for this weekend :haha:

Gotta watch some K-19! I didn't really care for Crimson Tide too much.
