The means does not justify the consequences. And it could very well be the beginning of the end. Man isn't always the smartest thing on this round piece of rock, and more than likely not the smartest thing in the whole Universe.

Maybe we can genetically alter ourselves to be able to digest the plastic we have put into the oceans. And maybe we could alter ourselves to no longer needing to breathe, so that we can reduce CO2 emissions.

yea, what I always tend to remind myself of when I hear people saying that earth is doomed anyway, cause of the sun which will eventually die, for example, is that by the time the sun actually dies humanity will more than likely have the power to build their own suns or simply refuel it just like when people say that we're going to have a superior race at some point in the future, because of manipulation of the genetic code but once that happens there will more than likely also exist measures to enhance the capabilities of those which were not genetically enhanced.

I mean, we do not know anyway but I like to remind myself that there's always measures and countermeasures.

Globalist social engineers of today would love the prospect.
