ah... so that file has to be in the main sh3 folder because I have it in my mods when activated should it make a file in the main folder like with mep?

No, no mate. Sorry for the confusion. If your SH3 folder looked like that the mod would not work. I posted that screenie to make sure that was not what you had. It would have explained why FM Interiors was not working.

There's only 2 things I can think of.

Try having FM_NewInteriors as the last thing on your JGSME mod list.

And secondly
This happens sometimes, I don't know why people do this but check to see if your mod file isn't organised like FM_NewInterior v2.1D>FM_NewInterior v2.1D>data

No none of that is happening unfortunately it probably isn't as obvious as that could it be something to do with what i mentioned before about no ui or widescreen patches are working either?

This is probably going to sound stupid, but what U-Boat you using to test your mods? New_Interiors is limited to Type VII U-boats if I'm not mistaken.

If you are and it's still not working. I don't know what else to suggest.
For an alternative to New_Interiors, try using the U-Boats Compilation 2 (only Type VIIB & C models by WISE) which includes New_Interiors or TKSS18 German U-Boats Compilation No Eagle mod which it has it own interiors across all? Or most subs but it's slightly different from New_Interiors.

I am using the steam version of the game (don't know whether that is worth mentioning) I have tried the compilation pack by wise if i enable that even on its own my game crashes :/

Crashes while loading in the game from the office space (where you change realism and such)
