Third episode...it's losing me.:wah:

Episode four and the characters are starting to become repetitive and predictable. I hope episode five brings more clarity and sense, otherwise it is simply a case of 'I started watching so I'll see it through to the end'.

Certainly nowhere near as good as GoT despite all the hype.

I've come to believe that JJ Abrams only involves himself in one kind of television series, and this is exactly the sort. I had high hopes, but Westworld has begun to devolve into little more than Lost with Stetsons. I might stick it out for an episode or two, but considering how Lost turned out I am not sure I want to get invested again.

So, any one did watch the rest of the series?
The last episode of the season, any thoughts? I got surprise a few things during the last episodes!

I gave up on it half way through the series.

I have been watching it and after a relatively dull episode or two early on it sprang to life with a few surprises. Switched off recently during an episode where Bernard is "discovering" himself as I was tired and wasn't fully following it, but I will watch it to figure out whats going on.
Bert.

I watched the entire series, enjoyed it very much, but you really have to be a science fiction fan and pay close attention. My wife turned off after the first episode.

I thought the writing and acting, especially Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, Thandie Newton and of course, Ed Harris was top notch. Evan Rachel Wood is pretty, but played the victim a bit too much for my taste.

It raised a lot of interesting science fiction themes, such as man's inhuman treatment of other races and how absolute power corrupts...absolutely.

Of course, Star Trek explored the same themes 50 years ago, but without the same production value or gratuitous sex and nudity. It's amazing what you can show on cable these days (this is not a complaint btw. Purely for research purposes :D, I spent a lot of time looking at Thandie Newton and ms. Wood to see if it was really them or a body double :yep: ).

I doubt it can last more than 2 or 3 seasons though, but for my taste, the best series are those with a tight story arc and limited time span, like "Breaking Bad".

after watching all of season one...I'm kinda wondering where they go from here.

I think the park gets taken over by the hosts (obviously) and maave is becoming the conflicted villain. Bernard, Delores, and teddy have to save the day. while the company tries to crack down on the park

just my thoughts...very good so far
