Actually, the reason the thread title is More wildlife..... was in direct reference to the whale video you posted. I thought you and others might enjoy seeing the videos and reading the stories associated with them.

Well those poor starving lions certainly got 'buffaloed' outta their (decaf) breakfast!:know:

2. To confuse or deceive: "Too often ... job seekers have buffaloed lenders as to their competency and training" (H. Jane Lehman).

Can't find a video link in english but the thing I'm watching right now is called ''Ultimate honey badger'' by Earth-Touch (on my dvr recorder).

And it's really impressive how robust and fierce this little creature is (I knew it was but not to that point).

If really hungry, it can chase a viper or a cobra, kill it, fall in coma if bitten (would have been fatal to any creature), resurrect 2 hours later then finish his meal.:o

His thick and elastic skin make it very hard (even for lions) to bite. Only a very patient and determined feline can overcome.

Ok there's no ''happing ending'' it just amaze me all the might nature can create...

I'm coming back as a honey badger

But I'm unable to watch your second link (it says that National Geographic blocked it in my country for copyright reasons).

Same here. Like with the BBC and others. Everyone in the UK and the US automatically has a subscription for those channels, if they pay for it or not. But not in the rest of the world, I guess there is some national bias :haha:.
We will sure see more of it soon, as things are currently developing. There is no free net for all anymore. Google voluntarily blocks sites for chinese citizens, succumbing to the chinese government.

The internet has come a long way, and looking for the nationality of an IP adress and then blocking, is one of its latest "achievements".
Seems it happens not only in Poland, Turkey or China.
