I've been buying his Jack Ryan Jr based hardcover books at Barnes and Knobles when they go on sale for $6.98. These are the ones that have at least 3 to 400 pages to keep you going. Great reading that you can't put down.

I have read
Red Storm Rising
Hunt For Red October and
The Bear and the Dragon

I Would be glad if they made a movie of the Red Storm Rising.

That movie would have to be 20 hours long. So many plotlines.

I once had a class where I had to choose a book and basically step into the shoes of a character. I did Toland from RSR. Had to write up a bunch of stuff from his point of view and put it into a binder. I ended up with a halfway decent little supplement to the book. :rotfl2:

EDIT: I just remembered two very excellent books I read that were similar. Team Yankee and Sword Point by Harold Coyle. Enjoyed them just as much as any of Clancy's books. Read them if you can.

Oh, he's right. That book has so many plot lines, I could fill a movie with them.
Hey, wait a minute... :D
