As I said

"They will say they have found 110 % proof of water and bacteria"

In this case water. Later they will come with another breakthrough news where they say they have found bacteria, alive.

At this point it honestly makes no difference whether they find bacteria alive or dead... So long as they find it.

The discovery of life on other planets will inevitably force mankind to reevaluate many things, especially if any sort of complex organisms are ever discovered.

In an article it said "Discovered Liquid Salty Water Flowing On Mars" with this in mind I guess it a huge possibility, they will find living bacteria or some kind or organism of some kind.

Alien bacteria oh boy! I hope we don't accidentally bring some back when we go out there.

NASA makes these announcements, the media runs with it, we collectively scoot our asses to the edges of our seats in anticipation of this cool mystery discovery...

That sounds a lot more to me like people not understanding the sort of things NASA is likely to announce, and not thinking it through.

I expect that any "We found life" announcement is not going to come from a NASA press release. That sort of news would likely be well known from leaks throughout NASA and academia well before NASA makes an official announcement.

(Of course, NASA has managed to keep the entire moon landing conspiracy covered up for almost 50 years, so they might pull it off.)
