From Dowly's link above all I can tell is that a US Navy Captain (a woman in charge of the US Navy Prowler E-6 planes) out of Tinker Airforce Base in Oklahoma has been fired or dismissed for not wanting to tell the submarines when it's time to go to war.


But this is an even bigger story that gets swept away from never knowing why: http://www.navy.mil/submit/display.asp?story_id=85812

That was just 22 days ago ...

Been thinking..haven't The US-military forces some kind of back-ups in case of break in chain of command, like the story in the first article ?
