Try putting the skins in a folder called tex. This is the path to it:

SH3 (GAME MAIN FOLDER) - data - Textures - TNormal - tex

I checked, and the game crash when I select the type VIIC, when I picked Type IIA game walked, I have 2 modifications, NewInterior and waterstream + Exhaust-CombiV2 when one takes away the mod, the game wore on the Type VIIC, as if the two were not compatible mod, but before yesterday both mod worked flawlessly.
