Wilkommen, Herr Kaleun.

The 'top of England' around these parts is usually called Scotland. As they are after independence this year, best idea is to humour them...:shifty:

Stock is fine for learning the basics but as soon as you can, upgrade to GWX + SH3 Commander + mods of choice = the game as it should have been.

And then kiss goodbye to your social life, it's seriously addictive.

DONT try and enter Scapa Flow untill you have some serious Seatime under your belt.It is somewhat of a Challenge and not for the faint of Heart!

I wasnt trying to enter, just go around Scotland. As you know, Scapa Flow tends to get in the way of that. Wasnt going through Der Kanal as that would be too much for me in 1943.

If you want to know my most interesting experience so far, look at the humorous pic thread. Its not a screenshot, but its a good story all the same.

So, where is that yellow submarine of yours? If within the vicinity we may be able to send a Postal-pigeon landing on your conning tower with new mission orders. ;)

[EDIT]If you are able to download that bunch, see this thread for good links: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=211204

I should be fine for now. If it comes down to it, I'll talk over the specs for a mail-in gwx.

Thank you all for your help. That'll help in the long run.
