We had a call when I was on the squads in Nebraska. Petite woman, flat stomach, already had kids, was convinced there was no way she was pregnant. Then she crowned in the ER. :o
The attending doctor summed it up in one word -- denial. Some women are in such a state of denial (for myriad reasons) that they can, to some extent, even convince themselves. The problem with pregnancy denial is that in about 40 weeks, it gets a lot harder. |

Well sh was "fired" over it so thats one reason to deny it.
Funnly enough sh named the kid after pope francis... loyalty to the end it seems. Not that I really care but wonder what she will do now. Nun does not really seem to look good on a resume, atleast to me. Also I think the Anti-crist would be an upgrade to politicians. We know what he would be doing/planning:har: And for many wouldn't that mean the "second coming" would be around the corner? :hmmm: |

Before I posted my request for a link I checked a bunch of news websites sites and none of them have mentioned it. It may be true but given the lack of confirmation and the tabloid writing style of that article you posted I still wonder if it's accurate. |
August like I said before and it is known in the church as well they take oaths that she will have broken and the penalty for breaking them is dismissal since they are no longer consided "pure to god"
Edidt another artical http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/53497...names-baby.htm But it is hard to find articals on it. I think it is because there is little to anything to sensationalize, so little the newsstations can get ratings on. The only "sensasional" news to them is the birth of a child. the only articals I am finding are from friday and early saturday after that the subject deems to vanish. |

Well we'll see. It's up to the Pope and all bets are off with this one. |
Actually it isn't always up to the pope. He has more important duties after all, the direct superior can make the decision, in this case the mother superior and/or the bishop of the local covenant. Due to the nature of Catholicism though the decision will likely be made by the bishop.
While the new pope is more open-minded about this stuff the policy will have to be changed for the nun to stay in. Such changes are curretly unlikely given the current political layout in the vatican. But with the Oaths they swear due to the fact they believe Jesus to have remained a virgin and again as I stated before interferes with their "purity" in the eyes of god. I know I am jewish but I have made it a point in my life to understand and study other religions workings especially christanity and catholicism. |
Maybe it's a miracle......and millions of people will come to worship her. It happened before and people believe it, why not now?

I am wondering if this might be orchestrated by the RC church to take the heat off the priests? |
Just as a matter of curiosity, what did she think would happen when His Grace 'climbed aboard', what with the ban on contraception?:hmmm:
