By following vdr1981 advice I have reduced the CTD to zero. I now have 20 hours of playtime without any CTD. I have destroy ships with topedoes and with cannon without CTD. No CTD by using silentotto. No CTD at Kiel, Everything works without probem:rock:.

Why dont you try to place those four files into library folder again,make one change via TDW options file editor and try to reproduce CTD. This is my current modlist , shells_rck files are not removed... Code:

My biggest concern was with scenario #6 and silentotto. It wasn't the enabling/disabling of mods from JSGME as much as I thought. I have noticed problems occurred more from using the optionsfileviewer editor and saving. At times, seems like TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py wasn't being saved properly. I always referenced the menu.txt and SH5 root folder. Always used the optionsfileviewer application. The windows event viewer was not reporting a problem with msvcr90.dll in my case. It could be because I removed some visual C++ versions that I saw in windows programs, too many versions. Plus sober and others have reported issues with visual C++. Game stable with my gigantic modlist for weeks or longer for now. Not playing much anymore since I am concentrating on voices reloaded scripting more. I have been merging some mods with their respective patches into one mod more and more. One example is, Equipment_Upgrades_Fix. This eliminates enabling/disabling JSGME issues, plus increased speed overall. I could not find where silentmichal's interior mod 1.2.4 was being asked in your Wolves of Steel thread. It works below. Had ctd entering Kiel from Memel.
Escort crossed me from left to right ok. Tried to cross me again from right to left ctd. Reloaded previous save and instead of coming down the middle of the channel as before I kept well over to the right at TC1. Patrol ended ok. |
